Number Portability
In the event that you want to cancel your voice system and take a number that we have assigned to you
or a number you have moved to our service, we are happy to release the number to you under the
following circumstances:
- Account charges must be up to date and you must get the number moved (RESPORG) to the long distance carrier of your choice PRIOR to canceling your account.
- You will continue to get billed for the monthly rental and any usage on your account until step 1 has been completed and you have requested us to cancel your system.
- If you do not get the number moved to a long distance carrier before canceling your account, the number is considered abandoned. There is the possibility your previously used number(s) could be recycled into our database and used by another customer. If the number has been re-assigned to another customer the number(s) cannot be moved.
